eScrip Program Terms and Conditions

The
following Terms and Conditions apply to the eScrip
Visaâ Platinum Program (the “Program”) and include provisions
relating to eligibility for enrollment, accrual of eScrip
Visa donations and other important conditions and limitations. Please read these Terms and Conditions
carefully. Any use of your eScrip Visa credit card will constitute your
acknowledgement of and agreement with all of the provisions specified below.
As used in
these Terms and Conditions, “you” and “your” refer to any individual who is an
accountholder or joint accountholder on the eScrip
account (the “Account”). “
1. Eligibility is restricted to individuals who
are
2. You will earn one half percent (.50%) in eScrip Visa donations on the first $2,000 of annual net
purchases, one percent (1%) on the next $38,000 of annual net purchases, and
two percent (2%) of annual net purchases made above $40,000. “Net Purchases”
means purchases of goods or services made by you or
your authorized user through the use of your eScrip
Visa credit card, minus merchant credits and plus or minus appropriate purchase
adjustments posted to your Account. The
term “Net Purchases” does not include finance charges, annual membership fees,
non-qualifying balance transfers, transactions made at a financial institution
(such as purchasing gift cards or travelers’ checks or making loan payments),
cash advance transactions (including access checks, ATM disbursements, and
automated teller or cash equivalent item transactions), insurance premiums,
debt cancellation fees, late fees, overlimit fees and other fees and charges
assessed on your Account. Annual net purchases are calculated on
a calendar year basis beginning and ending with the December billing cycles.
3. eScrip
Visa donations will be awarded monthly on your Account only if your Account is
in Good Standing as of the date when your statement is created. If
your eScrip Visa Account is not in Good Standing when
your December statement cyles, your eScrip Visa donations will not be transferred, and such
donations will be forfeited. Your
Account will be in “Good Standing” if as of such date

your credit card Account statement is created in December of each year,

amount you earned through purchases with your eScrip
Visa.

donations earned on your Account have no cash value and can not under any
circumstances whatsoever be redeemed for cash or used as payment for
obligations to

reporting your annual eScrip Visa donations to eScrip after each December’s credit card Account statement
period has cycled. Once transferred, eScrip is solely responsible for all donation processing to
award your eScrip Visa donations to your chosen
organization.
9. You are responsible for determining any tax
benefit or liability for your eScrip Visa Program
Account.
10. Neither National City nor eScrip
shall be liable for any damage or other loss to person or property or any
expense, or inconvenience of any type or nature that may result from your
participation in the Program.
